BeGood in Brixton
Saturday 07 July 2007
After an amazing launch party featuring Mr Dennis Ferrer, we return to Deep at Plan B.
With a quality line-up every month, this time we've got Alix Alvarez from SOLE Channel Music, and Franck Roger from Real Tone Records.
Hailing from the Bronx, New York, Alix's bio speaks for itself. Assistant engineer in Louie Vega and Kenny Dope's own MAW studio...could you ask for a better apprenticeship into house!!! Alix has gone from selling his mix tapes on the streets, to running his own record label in SOLE Channel with his partner Mr V. He has produced classic tracks like 'Rising into Joy' in 2002, co-produced 'Deep (house music)' in 2004, and more recently the massive 'Da Bump'.
Alix has collaborated with names such as Osunlade, Mood II Swing, Malena Perez, and our other special guest Franck Roger.
Parisian Franck Roger has to be one of the hardest working guys in deep house. He has produced over 40 tracks for quality labels such as Kenlou (a MAW label), BBE, Defected, and King Street US to name a few. He is a versatile dj, that can go from soulful, to disco, to bumpy afro beats, and do it so smooth you won't even notice the music's changing.
With strong support abroad from the likes of Louie Vega, Frankie Feliciano, Ron Trent, Osunlade, DJ Spinna, Francois K, and in his native France from DJ Deep, and DJ Gregory, Franck can now express himself freely and is now exploring different horizons open to him by collaborating with artists like Alix Alvarez.
Having produced tracks together, and performed together, you know Alix and Franck are gonna put on a great show, and have some fun at the same time. You won't wanna miss this!!!

Dennis Ferrer (DF) has had phenomenal success over the past few years with world wide hits including: Blaze 'Most Precious Love'(remix), Fish Go Deep 'Cure & the Cause'(remix), Sydenham & Ferrer 'Sandcastles'.

BeGood in Notting Hill
Sunday 01 April 2007
What an event... BeGood absolutely stole the show last night at Canvas. Unfortunately, it seemed our room was so popular that there was a sizable queue just to come through as we'd reached capacity. We're sure you made it in though and you were one of the hundreds of people enjoying one of our best gigs ever. Additional apologies go to everyone who was disappointed that our room closed early. It turns out that we were possibly a little too popular and we may have distracted several hundred people away from the main room. (Sorry Norman!) The cheers and applause from you all at the end made up for the premature end and we love you too! See you next time.

BeGood in Notting Hill
Sunday 19 November 2006
This exclusive 80 person capacity bar in the heart of Notting Hill’s Italian quarter, opened during 2006 immediately rose to the attention of London’s true A list clientele and has already been accredited with Bar of the Moment on World’s Best bars.
Montgomery Place is a haven for the mature and sophisticated and takes its inspiration from the halcyon days of the Ratpack. Think Sinatra in Vegas. Think Dean Martin trading quips with Sammy Davis Junior. Think old school at its best.
MP has an extensive and broad-minded wine list on which you can find representatives from far-flung Brazil, Mexico and indeed Morocco. All deserve comment. As does MP's bar staff. Such is their encyclopedic knowledge of fine wines, cocktails and liquor, they could all ace Mastermind's specialist round.
As you lean against their dark oak bars, the colour of sherry barrels, enjoy a selection of utterly fabulous food from the small but perfectly formed menu.
BeGood in Notting Hill features music by BeGoodMusic with live trumpet and percussion by Tom Ashe from 8pm until 12am.
BeGood are delighted to bring Montgomery Place aboard our portfolio and respectfully remind patrons that Sundays are strictly by guestlist only. Contact us to ensure entry.
